AssembleDouble(<exp>, <sig>)

Description

Assembles a double value based on the provided exponent and significand.

Parameters

<exp> The exponent value for assembling the double.
<sig> The significand value for assembling the double.

Return Value

Success: Returns the assembled double value calculated as sig * 2^exp.
Failure: Returns the same as success.

Remarks

The AssembleDouble function takes an exponent value <exp> and a significand value <sig> to assemble a double value. It calculates the result as the product of the significand and 2 raised to the power of the exponent (sig * 2^exp).

This function is useful for constructing a double value using separate components such as an exponent and significand.
