BitDecrement(<value>)

Description

Decrements the double value by a small amount.

Parameters

<value> The double value to be decremented.

Return Value

Success: Returns a new double representing the decremented value.
Failure: Returns 0.

Remarks

The BitDecrement function takes a double value as input and decrements it by a small amount. The function internally uses the provided code snippet to perform the decrement operation. It handles special cases for NaN, -Infinity, +Infinity, and +0.0 values. NaN values return NaN, -Infinity values return -Infinity, +Infinity values return Double.MaxValue, and +0.0 values return -Double.Epsilon. Negative values are incremented, while positive values are decremented.
