Language Reference - Datatypes - Objects

An object is a special kind of variable that contains something that could be an unknown object or a class or something Sputnik cant quite use natively but has it stored in a variable so it can be used by something else.

An example would be say a network sock obviously a socket wouldn't be a variable but it has to be stored somewhere so it is stored inside a variable as an object which then allows other functions to access the object and make use of it even though the variable itself cannot make use of it beyond merely storing it.

The main object in Sputnik is the class which you can learn about by clicking here.
